What is a virtual event?

A virtual event is an online space in which people can gather and interact virtually from the comforts of their homes or their office. By using an online platform, virtual events can be as educational and engaging as live events, and they allow organizations to creatively deliver content and share information without the need for people coming together physically.

Where are the proceeds from the event going?

All proceeds from this event will bring yoga and mindfulness classes to at-risk and underserved children and adults in Greater Cincinnati

What can you expect?

Tuesday, October 20 – Thursday, October 22nd, 2020

Private access to the recorded classes and the main event will be provided to registered guests via email in advance.

  • Oct. 20 - ticket holders receive 6 recorded classes from our Greater Cincinnati hOMetown favorite teachers.
  • Oct. 21 - ticket holders receive 6 MORE recorded classes from our Greater Cincinnati hOMetown favorite teachers.
  • Oct. 22 - gather your friends and family here, to watch our online, virtual presentation of the main event, an evening of merriment, Namast'ay at hOMe.

How long can I access the hOMetown Favorite recorded classes?

These classes are available to you for as many views as you'd like, through December 31st, 2020. By clicking to participate in the recordings, you acknowledge and assume all risk of injury releasing Project Yoga and its affiliates from any liability.

 

 

Silent Auction:

How do I register to participate in the Silent Auction?

Go to http://projectyoga.givesmart.com/ to and fill out the following to register:

- Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- Email

You will also need to enter your credit card information before you bid on an item, donate, or purchase a raffle ticket.

How do I participate in the auction?

  • The Silent Auction will open for bidding on Monday, October 19th and run through midnight Sunday, October 25th.
  • Once registered, click on the "VIEW AUCTION ITEMS" button.
  • You can then search through all Items or sort by number, category, or item name.
  • Once you find an item you are interested in, click on it and a page will open that will allow you to place a bid on said item. You can choose to have GiveSmart automatically enter the minimum bid or enter a price you are willing to bid as long as it is more than the minimum.
  • Once your bid has been entered, you will receive a text message informing you if another guest has outbid you.
  • You can also watch an item and receive a notification on bids by hitting the "Watch This Item" button at the bottom of the page.
  • The credit card of the winning bidder will be automatically run at the end of the auction.

When does the online auction and raffle close?

The auction and raffle will close at midnight on Sunday, October 25th, 2020.

Auction Rules:

  • You may skip ahead to the bid amount you want to pay. The next bidder must bid higher than you to be successful.
  • All winning bids are final. There will be no exchange or refund on items unless otherwise specified.
  • Should an auction or raffle package become unredeemable due to COVID-19, PROJECT YOGA will turn your support into a fully tax-deductible donation. Examples of changes in redemption include a business closing and not re-opening, or any current social-distancing guidelines preventing the package from being redeemed.
  • A pre-registered credit card is required to begin bidding.
  • Please pay careful attention to all conditions, any restrictions, and expiration dates on items and services. Unless otherwise stated, gift certificates exclude alcohol, tax, and gratuity. We appreciate your strict observance of these restrictions, as future donations depend upon it.
  • Due to the nature of this virtual event, PROJECT YOGA will communicate with all winning bidders after the auction closes regarding auction item pick-up/delivery/shipping.
  • PROJECT YOGA will not ship alcohol to a winning bidder. You must be at least 21 years old to purchase any packages containing alcohol and tours of alcoholic establishments (distillery, brewery, etc).
  • PROJECT YOGA is not responsible for replacing gift certificates lost. PROJECT YOGA is under no obligation to extend, modify, or change items or restrictions on items/certificates.
  • Dates for all trips and similar events must be mutually arranged with the donor unless otherwise noted. All reservations should be made at least one month in advance. No refunds are permitted for canceled, lost, or unused tickets and/or accommodations.
  • All completed sales from this event are considered transactions solely between the purchaser and the donor of the auction item.
  • All gift card usage is the responsibility of the buyer. Although the gift card and amount are currently valid, PROJECT YOGA cannot be held responsible for unused gift cards at businesses that may cease to operate before the expiration date.
  • Auction items may not be transferred from the original buyer to another auction outside of PROJECT YOGA without prior written consent from the donor.
  • PROJECT YOGA has endeavored to describe the auction items correctly, but all items are sold "as is." No statements contained on this website or elsewhere shall be deemed a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability. Bidders should carefully note the specific restrictions, conditions, and expiration dates for items purchased.
  • PROJECT YOGA reserves the right to withdraw any item from the sale.

Are there ways other than a credit card to donate to Project Yoga?
